I understand, Greta.

It's just that those who watch CNBC theoritically have a keen interest in the markets and, consequently, are there to be informed and educated. Sure, entertainment can make the experience a little more enjoyable, but isn't that what the bulk of the other channels are for?
I think CNBC would be losing sight of its market if it felt it had to dumb down to a denominator that most could understand.

That's why I can't stand the regular pieces on Hollywood and the entertainment industry. While covering the industry from an investment perspective is w/in the mission of the network, going on to do an "Entertainment Tonight"-style fluff piece on the upcoming movies is a waste of air time. If they feel such a need to spend time on that kind of stuff, eat into Rivera or Grodin's time. Please.
