Greyhair was right when he said that IF it was a sizeable hit, it would take several holes to prove up reserves... Since they reached total depth on Wed/Thurs (as reported in the NR) could it be possible that the logs where already completed just prior to the "TH" declaration... I know that wireline setups are nowhere near as complicated or time consuming as a frac set up... There were lots of occasions when the wireline guys were on standby on the completion of a frac in order to obtain immediate flow rates and pressures... I do know that they are also there several times during a drilling operation and especially at the completion of a "drill"... Furthermore... I think that it already has been determined in previous postings that a few companies have already bought up surrounding acreages during previous land auctions, so I don't think that the TH status has anything to do with the possibility of purchasing surrounding acreage, unless they are going to approach the new purchasers of same... ...ed
