Can anyone else watch for you, place an order for you, trusted friend, relative? Give them a parameter?

If you place an order for the highest that you are willing to pay, and it goes over that, then you simply missed, unless it falls back and you catch it before its second rise. But if you place an order that is higher than the going ask, then your broker should execute at the lower price, if it stays there long enough to pick you up, no?

If you get back at lunch and find it has passed you by, then you still have a chance to pick it up as it will prolly just keep on going up anyway, even if it falls back a bit after you get it. I have learned that it is pretty hard to get in at the bottom and sell at the top. But if I get into a stock that I think is good, and it falls back, then I can either just wait, or pick up more. It doesnt matter that I got in a little higher than I "could have" if I had waited. Those things are impossible.
