ADOT Thread -- It is wonderful and amazing this world of free discussion and modern day pen pals called the internet. You take something extravagant like "Interest in a stock called Advanced Optics" and 10 years ago there was no place to go to find out information other than pleading with your broker to get same, and being so bold as to call the company and 'hope' to get something ... and that it could be trusted. Enter the internet and we now have this wonderful SI and our wonderful thread. I have a list of 22 different investors from those I know outside of SI (4) and those on SI (18). Of this list 8 people have 'divulged' to me their holdings (this is not something I am asking for ... I recognize this as a private matter). The holdings of these 8 comprises just under 200,000 shares, so it is fair to say that our little group holds over 5% interest in ADOT. (Fair to say ... doesn't mean "NEED TO SAY"). This information should really give us nothing more than a sense that we comprise a fairly large group in a fairly small company. MY ACTION PLAN REGADING "SECOND" CONTACT --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. I will on Tuesday or Wednesday publish a draft letter to Mr. Robbins here on this thread. I would welcome any comments. I do this more as providing information to all, keeping all up to date on progress. (This letter will be a simple introductory letter stating purpose of call, etc.) 2. I will send letter to Mr. Robbins, letting him know when I will contact him via phone, and requesting a face-to-face meeting in late June. 3. I will contact him via telephone and, after the formalities, seek to get into really an interview session with him to obtain answers to the questions I have, and those I have received from you all (Please provide such ... I will try to provide a final "questions list" prior to my referenced call). 4. I will post these answers for all and handle any other questions that you might have about the call. 5. I will visit him in late June and SEE THE BB! If'n I don't SEE THE BB, then I will call this break in my vacation a failure! <gggg> I don't hold out any high hopes, so neither should anyone else. I don't seek to establish myself with Mr. Robbins as anything that I am not. I only seek an honest polite conversation as one who will report simple answers to simple questions back to a bunch of buddies who are current stockholders in ADOT, many of whom, like myself, are interested in increasing their stake. Hi Richard: Well, WINK and I did not believe Leslie when he told you that. But I have been rereading Brad's informative link, the press releases again and again. I am trying to be more accurate in my statements and more factuals. I sent you a private message asking you : how old is Leslie?. My guess is in his sixties. Also, was the sweet cream inside the chocolate mocca? Hey guys, how about Getcher sending one pound of chocolate with his letter? About 12 dollar for the pound of chocolate and about 8 dollars shipping. I sent a 5.84 pound box from California to texas for 7.10 cents priority mail. It takes only 2 days to get there. Just avoid Friday. No delivery on Sundays. Take care Fred
