Answer from PN's PR firm...

Mr Gilbert,

Your request for information you send to Pelorus has been forwarded to my
attention. Here is our response:

1. Pelorus will be releasing their 3rd Quarter financial information on
April 28th.

2. We are not able to offer an explanation for the recent trading
pressures on PN other than there has been strong selling pressures in very
thin trading volume which resulted in PN losing some of its value.
Furthermore, the performance of the Alberta Stock Exchange both for oil and
gas issues and high-tech stocks has been lacklustre for quite sometime.

3. It has been Pelorus policy and will continue to be Pelorus policy to
respond promptly to all shareholder questions.

4. With respect to your comments about the "new FAA policy regarding
GNSS?", Pelorus notes that from our perspective of having been involved
with GPS and GNSS for over 10 years that the FAA has always had a concern
about the issue of catastrophic failures, intentional and unintentional
jamming of any navigational/landing aid which was part of the system for
which they have the operational responsibility.

The issue of "reliability" of a Satellite Nav System is not a "new" issue
but recently brought forward by some members of the US Congress that chose
to make it a very public partisan issue and created the impression that it
had not been part of the FAA's planning process.

Here what the FAA has to say: (quotes from the FAA web page)

...there is virtually no way for the FAA to guarantee or preclude
catastrophic event from occurring. Jamming can be done on all current FAA
systems and is a primary concern of the FAA's Spectrum Policy and
Management Office. They are deeply involved in the process of ensuring the
best possible protection to the GPS signal including being able to respond
to individual acts of intentional or unintentional jamming......

Pelorus does not perceive the issue of reliability has a "shift" in FAA
direction since it has been one of the FAA's concerns in the past and
therefore, does not warrant a re-orientation of marketing strategy as you
have suggested. The SLS-2000 is the first satellite landing system in the
world that has obtained FAA Type Approval and Pelorus feels it systems meet
the issue of reliability.

At this stage, work is still on-going in marketing the SLS in Canada, the
US and abroad while working jointly with the regulatory process in ensuring
and maintaining that the SLS-2000 meets and surpasses the safety and
reliability requirements that are set.

Sincerely,

Michel Paquet
