I smelled a rat when someone who attended the CY stockholders meeting said that management discussed how to trade CY effectively throughout the year. (I have tried unsuccessfully to find the post.) I wish I had trusted my instincts and sold my shares.
IMO nothing Cypress has done over the past two years will replace the revenue stream which was diminished by falling sram prices. I think it is an accomplishment for CY to hang in there as well as they have while there main product became a commodity. Unfortunately the products they invested in to provide new growth for the company don't appear to be contributing. There cost of production is already extremely low so no more cuts can be done there. I am having a hard time justifying holding the shares when I could use the write off and put the cash in a mm yielding 5%. comments?
