I just ordered two books from barnesandnoble.com. It was a pleasant experience. I went through the ordering procedures at AMZN as well just for comparison, and found it to be almost identical. I went with B&N because I have a short position in AMZN and don't want to add anything to their bottom line!

I also tried ordering from cmpexpress.com, which offers a 5% discount on AMZN and B&N. However, their site is not polished, which gave me the not trusting them with my credit card information feeling. The perceived risk didn't seem worth the extra 5% savings. Hopefully this will change as they upgrade the site.
