mr. mark,

From my experience, press releases don't move stocks
that much no matter who they are. The biggest creater
of press releases, IMO, is Microsoft. They make COMS
seem very quiet in comparison. And, the releases don't
do anything to MSFT's price.

Once thing that's interesting, is that COMS does have
an incredible amount of products, just like CSCO. I
read the Boardwalk editorial this weekend, and it was
mentioned that CSCO just about has to have a web presence
to sell products, because it's just too hard to do
with a Catalog.

Makes me wonder if all the products ever get used.

Some of the press releases are hype and some aren't.
The way I look at it, is even if the products is GREAT,
it still has to prove that it generates profits.
Therefore we have to wait 'till earnings reports, or
other crafty methods to determine concretely generated
profits, as probably some of the other COMS posters
are able to do.
