I wouldn't hold much hope of getting the SEC to say anything publicly. Their investigations consume an amazing amount of time dependent on their overall case load.

And even if they do decide not to take any action, it was only an investigation and thus never really closes... :0( Kinda like old soldier never dying... They just... blah, blah....

However, once the company issues its first 10Q/K then you should know more about what the actual situation is. The SEC will require disclosure in that filing as to whether or not any complaints are pending from authorities.

Give it 9-12 months and then you can feel reasonably assured that the SEC has put the case on the back burner and may not feel it worthwhile to follow through.
