Speaking of where they may be negotiating, here's a little useless trivia I remember from the aforementioned Penzoil vs Texaco case in the '80's:

Texaco, which as we all know, is a shortened version of "Texas Oil Co." presented itself in court as a corporation headquartered in New York.

Pennzoil ("Pennsylvania Oil Co.") presented itself to the court as a corporation headquartered in Texas.

At least one major business publication (I think it was Forbes) said that that shrewed Texas lawyer (still can't remember his name) got the big judgement from the jury in part by pounding home the point that these Penzoil guys were just good 'ol Texas homeboys in the 'ol bidness gettin' stepped on by that big 'ol New York corporation thet don't care a hill-a-frijoles about us "outlanders".

....In case you wonder why the tobacco companies don't just trust the constitution and Bill of Rights to protect them from the wild-eyed howling mob.

And now Europe is down pretty good too. Gonna be a grim day, overall, I reckon.
