Dwight, it's fine with me if we don't post to each other anymore. I did want you to understand that I don't make things up, but that I may have misunderstood your post, and that's why I included it.

I have said many, many times that I don't really care at all what or who anyone believes in. My disapproval only comes when religious belief systems cause other people, like homosexuals, Jews, or people of color, or those who believe in religions that disagree with the mainstream, like pagans, to be hurt or damaged or discriminated against in some way.

The insistence that everyone be treated exactly the same way in terms of jobs, housing, and general freedoms is indeed what a liberal who supports diversity and freedom would assert. I personally find it puzzling that someone like you who is quick to label entire categories of people "sinners" because of traits that are inherited, and refuse to even read urls which offer different points of view, many of them by Bible scholars, would be wishing that I could be more open-minded, but whatever, because it is you who has to live with yourself and your belief system, not me.

I really do not believe SI should be used as a forum for bigotry and hatred and racism, and I see a lot of that at Ask God. If people choose to express their first amendment rights by spouting these really negative feelings and opinions, certainly it is not surprising that others will continue to challenge them.
