James, it's because of interest rate fears. The WSJ has the top story on the WSJIE about the idea that the Fed stance has shifted at the 3-30-98 meeting...article says the rates will probably be raised in a couple months.

TO ALL, LOOKING MORE BAD AT THE OPEN , in fact right UGLY..furtures
are falling fast as the opening gets closer..don't forget
the stupid SEC went to the extreams in the changed circuit breakers
now 10/20/30 ..a strong down draft won't get checked untill it goes
most twice what it could before April 15..

It looks like wave 1 down ain't over after two days of decline, will probably end this morning with a spike v of 1 down, then a wave 2 bounce from a lower level. After wave 2 bounce look out below.

Ratan, I may sell puts on spike down this morning and buy them back on wave 2 bounce. Not interested in calls right now.
