What a surprise, you discount VectorVest's analysis because it punctures your optimistic view of WinStar's prospects. The fact is that VectorVest is unfailingly accurate in its predictions, REGARDLESS of the industry sector analyzed. Value is value and WinStar has none. Wake up.

Dear Bill:

I am quite familiar with Vector Vest. It is a weird
combination of value analysis and short term technical
analysis. Vector Vest loves companies trading at low
price to sales ratios, such as car stocks, or in the tech
sector, disk drive companies. It was very bullish on
disk drive stocks before they got decimated last fall.
I bet it is still very bullish on them now (probably
more appropriately). It usually hates all semiconductor
stocks. I would actually not be surprised if Vector Vest
indicated that INTC. MSFT, CSCO, LU were piles of junk trading
for more than 10 times their true value. I think these
stocks are somewhat overvalued (except perhaps INTC),
but Vector Vest would never be able to tell you by how much.
In other words, VectorVest is a joke, except if your horizon
is limited to car stocks or steel companies.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
