Hi Gary,

Only exported about 30 symbols for the test so really can't answer your questions. Can say it went quickly.

Have MetaStock but don't use it at present. Main thing I was interested in was the data format and whether other programs could read it. As I said earlier, format is identical to version 3 and at least GET can access the data.

Sorry I couldn't help with other questions.

Gary,

Just exported 50 symbols with 500 days data (TradeStation running in background) and took about 35 seconds. Certainly NOT instantaneous but not bad when working with lists. The interesting thing is that GET (or any other program) can read this current (20-minute delayed) data. That's a plus.
