Gersh:

The amount of the immediate fall is very small , or so it appears to me.

When I checked Globex early this morning and saw lock limit (or so close to it that difference didn't matter) I really envisioned between 200 and 300 Dow point drop by 10:00EDT

I'm operating somewhat in the dark as far as market action on the floor is concerned because my broker friend who has the office 4 blocks away from me is in Dallas with his son who fell from a tree and broke his arm but the worst damage is a torn eye. The eye surgeon here told me Sat it was very serious and I got a report this morning from a relative that the wound had not been sutured closed yet and there was severe danger from bone chips loose in the blood supply to the brain.

At this point, all I can do is pray for the kid and hope for the best.

The market will do what it will do, but I'm at a current disadvantage without some of the feed to the big box and some of the feed directly to me, also.
Right now SPX is drifting slightly lower from 1092 , so I'll post if and when I get more info.
