thanks Craig for the "head's up". an interest rate hike shouldn't stop Dell sales - most likely will have the opposite effect. more bonds have been proffered the last few months by the largest coporations - more than at any other time. the proceeds from the sale of these bonds are to go mainly to "upgrades and capital construction projects." one of the major areas of upgrade? more technology (computers - especially computers since many large corps are still operating under pre 1990 systems - slow), Y2K, etc. this information came from financial show the other day.
