>I was wondering why none cares about the uncertainty of CEO anymore?<

Every now and then I have an anxiety attack about whether or not Jobs will step up. But then I smack my big toe with a 20 oz. hammer and the feeling goes away.

Well, Jobs has more chips in Pixar. But, he stepped into Apple
aggressively from assigning his NeXT subordinates into key positions
last year. He has controlled Apple since then. I think there is only one
condition that will make him become permanent CEO, that is to have
Disney buy his stake of Pixar. I could bear with the current situation
as long as he could make Apple's revenue/net income grow in the
foreseeable future.

Perhaps they are comfortable with the current "acting" CEO. Granted, he may not be the best, but they know him and can fairly predict some of his behavior.

When I start to worry about the CEO situation I hit soup on the toe with a hammer. That usually distracts me pretty well.

Nobody really likes it, but Steve Jobs is so far better for the job than anyone else, that everyone has to live with his insistence on remaining "interim."
