Ancampora is calling for 10K by years end still, with a 5-10% pullback in the near-short-term. I think that kind of pullback would be healthy for the market, especially considering much of the recent unwarranted enthusiasm in the market.

Tim,

Did not mean disrespect. But if you say, FUNDEMENTALS, ANNOUNCEMENTS DO NOT MATTER then does it mean future (next 2 years) earnings potential DO NOT matter...?? Well, well, if this is indeed the case, only God can save TAVA. But again I do not expect HIM to do so, just because I own some shares..!!

I just heard in CNBC, today's correction is already taking in 25 basis points interest hike. I do not personally expect drop below 8700 level.

Raj

A lot of brokers on Wall Street have never seen a Bear Market either. TAVA's showing a little strength here. Might settle down.

TIM, I have owned several Y-2000 stocks when they had their NMS listing. Some have tanked a few days later for awhile. Any suggestions on why some stocks pop and some drop????

And how that applies to TAVA? You can always E-Mail me if you don't want criticism.

Tim's right - in a true bear market, PE's of 7-10 are common, and that's for the good companies. Fundamentals do matter in a bear market - companies with bad fundamentals go to PE's of 4-5. But I don't think today is the start of a bear market.
