my concern about SI posts comes from the fact that SI posts are being picked up as anecdotal (vs. statistical) evidence to support news stories that, in turn, affect the stocks we trade/invest in. if that "trend" continues, we could be adversely affected in the pocketbook. sort of rumor begets reality instead of vice versa. the credibility of SI as an investor information forum could also be adversely affected, making it a catch 22 downward spiral - that favors the MM's over the individual investors. I don't profess to have THE answer, but I do believe we are seeing the beginnings of a real problem that could get out of hand if left unchecked.
