Hi Peter, how are you doing today? Are all your stocks going down? Or are you short the S&P like I am? In regard to this particular thread--are there really only three employees, Brad, Jeff and Jill? My son, who is the network administrator for the Motley Fool, said this was the case. My other son ( who almost applied at go2net but dind't want to work 70 hrs. a week) says there have to be fifty people to run a site like SI. Do you know what the actual situation is?
P.S. Unfortunately, have ben short the S&P for over a year!

Hi Peter,
What is your favorite stock at present?
Have you made any friends through SI?
Have you made any friends that you have actually met in person through SI?
Do you feel more "in" now?

Hi PM,
There's always been something about a "person of letters" that was respectable, even if what was written wasn't! However, in the new world of email, I find that I correspond in a much more focused way and more frequently than way back in the "telephone era."

Nobody could read my handwriting, so a keyboard makes me look like I'm almost literate!

Best regards, Tom

Hi Peter,
I was just passing through and I saw your post. My son is a high functioning autistic (we think he has Asberger's syndrome, or something similar). He has great difficulty with the interpersonal stuff, although he is the sweetest kid in the world. I hope email works for him when he gets older. I know you were just joking, but I have great hopes that electronic communication will level the playing field for my son.
