Hambrecht & Quist Llc said Monday it has started coverage of CMG Information Services Inc with a buy rating. -- said company represents a unique opportunity to invest in a range of Internet companies at private market prices. -- said company operates much like an Internet mutual fund with a portfolio of Internet investments. -- said performance will not be highly predictable. -- said key is company's ability to benefit from companies it helps start that are either sold for a profit or taken public.
