Your outline of their likely plan seams reasonable over time. However, I seem to recall that most European medicine is pretty much state run and it takes a while to break in or get approval. In the meanwhile, their link with C.R. Bard means that they can sell all over the US as long as their product meets whatever spec there might be for those seeds.
