These one or two day blips are interesting and they increase the activity on stock forums. However, they are not going to change anything. This has already been worked into the marketplace. The blips of '87, '97, and very possibly today, are buying opportunities for this market. It has had over 10 years of experience with this type of action. A meaningful decline will probably be a long drawn out one. Only this type of action will change this market's psychology. I believe it will take a series of fundamental issues that the marketplace tries to digest, finds distasteful, and regurgitates.

The Big Kahuna will be a Long Kahuna.
