I DON'T BELIEVE IT FOR A SECOND

Doug,

This "3 pm flu" today has me very suspicious. When BORL recovered, I thought "F me for a D," and started to pack up. Then I noticed that AC, which I own, spiked up huge at the bell, and that everything else was showing unnatural recovery.
I STRONGLY believe this market still holds a few nasty surprises. Check out all the "expert" quotes on the "Fed" and "Asia" reasons for today. Obviously, no one understands a damn thing about today. That these people get paid just shocks me. I would like to get them in a room with those Motley Assholes and pipe in the concentrated effluvium from a Taco Bell bathroom for about 45 minutes.

Ivan

Doug,

Could you please take a look at BORL charts. Still holding, would like to get out soon. When?

Thanks, and congrats on the article.

Mr. Doug R., sir:

Congratulations on your article!

Stairstep patterns...no I my first scan didn't work. Its been recycle bin and I thought I'd try another apprach. And since I'm sitting around her in 80% cash, I can calmly work on the problem!

I went back to the old "56" textbook(@#$%@@, I wish I'd gotten that autographed, now :-)), and took a look at the textbook case, DIGL. I notice that the ROC stays above 0 and the RSI stays above 50 for the duration of the stairstep pattern. These may be necessary, but not sufficient. My hope would be to narrow down the universe of stocks and then do the old visual scan.

Here's a few from this initial scan. One of the early problems is to screen out the hyped and the ecstatic from the calmly accumulated.

ANET
ARTI
ASIS
CTEC
DENT
DGJLF
DIYS
DTSX
EXBT
GTBX
INLK
ITVU
NEWZ
OMGA
ONYK
ROCLF (ROFL!!)
THOR
TTELF
TSIC
UACA
URGI
VSNR
XPT

Sorry for such a long list. Thought I'd better put down a little of the raw data and let someone else have a whack at it.

Doug

What are the chances of a false rally tomorrow?

Also, have you looked at GTAX or TDRP as possible shorts??

Rooster

PS Congrats on the article!

Doug- Congrats on the recognition! Well deserved! Now I hope the limelight doesn't drive you crazy (er)!
Suddenly I'm glad I was the first- based on the look on your face- to get you to sign an "autograph". And... on the Inagural Edition Annapolis cap!
Good stuff!

Hi Doug,

Surprised not to see this stock mentioned here on the 56 thread. If I interpret all the data correctly ..... especially with today's activity ...... it's a confirmed MIMBO in the BO stage.

Amigo Mike

Ooooops !!!! ...... it's OCIS

PS Those liking fundies really ought to peak at STVI. Low floater with +100-150% potential. Employees own 65%+ of the company and new monster contract awarded recently. VERY favorable earnings comparisons going forward for the next YEAR. Just another boring Amigo Pick.=)
