Brian: If you go back I have previously posted steps that I have and am taking which I consider adequate. Not to be redundant but I will have a winters worth of independent heat source and it will double for auxillary cooking needs. I live next to a mountain river for emergency water supply. I will be stocked as always for natural disasters and I will secure a 4 month supply of cash well ahead of time to cover our ongoing expenses. Seems to me that qualifies as "a little prevention."

Concerning "fear and crowd psychology". Maybe that's why I choose to live in a small town, where everybody practically knows everyone, in a sparsely populated region.
