RE: Could it be that in this day of wildly inflated stock prices, a jittery market might
consider BORL and other under-valued investments as a good place to put money.

Ouch!

David I doubt very much if BORL would be the place people would be putting their money! Virtually every stock is in the red today - so it seems to me that if "under-valued" investments was the operative theme I would have seen a lot more "in the green" stock prices today.

I think (and hope) this is H&Q related. Perhaps they did do what I was hoping for and properly explained the earnings release fiasco. Perhaps they mentioned the size and amount of new deals. Perhaps as the rumors start flying they are going to be taken over (first show me the announcement and they'll make a believer of me).

More than likely if this is indeed Fed related jitteriness the hedge fund boys and speculators shifted asset classes.

It also looks like the big run up was made entirely in the last hour of trading. From around 9 5/8 to 10 13/16 in an hour. So to me at least instead of steady rotation into "value" stocks, this seems to be either speculators going mad, big money who liked what they heard at the conference (assuming of course that BORL did present today!) or sheesh here I go - the takeover crud is true (shane - don't spread rumors...).

(Finally it does look like some fairly nice sized blocks were trading at the 10 13/16 after 4:00. So some bigger boys (ok not that big - 7500 shares (2), 3000 shares (1)) were certainly interested at 10 13/16. We shall see what the next few days bring. At the very least should be interesting. Hopefully no anti-climax.)

Shane.
