One year at a time, FTJoe, one year at a time. Let's get 'em on board as a respectable reporting company first. Proving the 39 million over 30 million for Doubleclick is most noteworthy. Who knows how Doubleclick got their 30 million? Do you? Did they acquire any companies or make strategic partnerships? I don't know. One thing is for sure: Goldman Sachs was gonna bring Doubleclick in at $12, then $14, then $17 and finally did at $21 (if I remember all of that correctly, I'm close if not to the point) and traded into the 30's the very first day, on a claim of 30 million in revenues. So what Doubleclick did in 1997 and what NETZ did in 1997 is a fair comparison, particularly if it turns out NETZ has better technology, equality in clients and there's not a wide range of shares between the two in the float. We'll have fun as the next couple of years roll along, comparing the quarterly reports of the two entities. But that won't happen till we get NETZ on board as a reporting company. I'd say we're so close I can almost taste it; but, personally, I find most commercial advertising very distasteful. I know of no disgruntlement that does not create ripples. To me it's apparent that this rippled into Wired (who knows who?) and that SD piggybacked (this word continues) in the bashing parade in order to sell copy. Doesn't it? In my view, journalism standards have been variant, at best, with respect to what Wired and SD. Aside from the uncertainties of the general market, the Ziff-Davis IPO will present another piggyback opportunity. I bet you dollars to donuts that this also was factored in and is coupled into Joe's decision to buy on the speculation that the company "WILL" report its audit. These two thoughts alone give value to the risk. Plus, it might also be a place where money can be made in a bummer market (should today's downward trend continue into the week). And I guess it's safe to also say it could go the other way, or nowhere at all. Add it up and take your pick, if you're picking! TO MATTY G: I go to the games--when I have coins in my pocket--and root very much for The Great Sox (hello Cunningham, sorry your Indians were Red Sox victims--Cleveland does have great fans and you are one of 'em!). But right now, more than ever, I'm rooting for the NETZ Sox. Matty, you back in yet?
