Earnings of (0.41) better than (0.47) estimates ... not sure what the whisper numbers were at. Do you think the majority of the investors in AMZN even look at the detail? If they did look at details, they might not be in AMZN :)

Thanks for the correction, tho the quickie analysis was likely way off base anyway. As
best as I can figure, accrued expenses of all sorts rose about 10% in the quarter. On the
other hand, revenue increased 32% in the quarter. Therefore, not being in retail, I cant
tell if this is good or bad.


Gary,

Any retail company with increased sales should have increased liabilities in all area. I am far from certain the relative increases are reasonable. I never ran a company that lost money continuously.
