I agree with you that over the long run the spin off will be beneficial to ORBI.

As for Angelo, well, try not to shoot the messenger for bringing bad news(fund selling). When a stock is controlled by funds to a great extent, like ORBI, the small time investors sink or swim short term as the funds buy in or sell out. A lot of investors jumped on board with the break out above 40, but you know that there was some heavy fund accumulation way back in the twenties. So, here is a fund manager looking at a double and says, "Why not sell on the down draft and buy back in cheaper?". It must be a big temptation to have that kind of power. Angelo may be unwise in his hyping, but he didn't sell out ORBI...some fund did. They'll probably both be back in next week with profit in hand AND just as much ORBI stock as they had yesterday. It can be frustrating. Looking at todays chart, I wouldn't be surprised to see some carryover downward pressure tomorrow. OTH, the market could shake this off(it has before) and ORBI could shoot straight up from 44!

Mohan:

Not going to see $ 50 this week. Sad to say that my ORBI holdings have lots of company with many other holdings. I don't want to even look at the total picture until most of the stocks recover...eventually.

Angelo is more of a trader than a long-term holder. If I had sold all my shares on Friday, I would be buying them all back tomorrow, though, because the potential for great profits is there with ORBI. It is unusual to find a stock that goes straight up up up and doesn't retreat somewhat. ORBI is taking a breather.

At least NCR went up yesterday! INTC - down! TECD - down! ORBI - down! ANTC - down! Many had good news, too.
