Funny you should mention that, that $5 to $8 quote is what got me looking at prices, cause it didn't seem right to me either. Just a sample of prices: Tidy Cat regular - 2.99/20 lb. Yesterday's news ( recycled pelleted newspaper ) - 11.99 / 30 lb. Swheat Scoop (flushable) - 7.99 / 14 lb. Litter Prefurred (scoopable) - 5.99 / 16 lb. EverFresh (scoopable) - 15.98 / 40 lb. FelinePine - 8.99 / 20 lb. And these are the 'premium' brands, store brands can be even less.
