Ratan,

First, You may have been able to reload win95 without reformatting. Remember for the next time.

Second, If you backed up your HD then there probably isn't any problem with the drive just the windows program.

Third, you do not have to fdisk before formatting, but since you did make sure if there is more than one partition or disk that you are formatting C:

Fourth, If it is the master disk which win95 gets loaded onto, you must use -/s

Fifth, Check bios for correct auto ide setting

Sixth, Fdisk over again, delete old file system then create new. You probably did it incorrectly. Then format drive c:

I do not believe there is anything wrong with the HD since you copied from ZIP.
