Mergers, buyback announcements, splits, beating estimates. I believe the Journal article was about rising rates. Well this afternoon Rubin apparently came out and said rates were going down. There was a long pause in the market, longer at least then I thought it should have been , and then a grudging rally started, which was helped by a weird reversal in Amazon, which apparently just announced a 2 for 1 a few minutes ago...
