John, I can't get much from some flashing *'s; however, the Bull Alert* and Bear Correction are flashing and the definitions for those terms are as follows: Bull Alert - A reversal up to a column of X's from below the 30% level. Strategy: buy stocks with positive relative strength in that sector. The tide has come in, and all stocks underlying the sector should rise. If you have held on through the last decline, don't sell now. The news will still be negative in this sector. Disregard it! Offensive team comes on the field. Bear Correction- A reversal up to a column of X's from Bear Confirmed status when the index is above the 30% level. Strategy: Discontinue selling short for now! Stocks should rise and the Dow Jones will likely move higher but the percentage of the stocks that go on buy signals from that level will be limited. The next reversal down reverts back to Bear Confirmed. Rallies will be limited while declines will be extended. I don't know what all that means, though. I hope Jan will answer your question. I'm curious.
