Holyman, Yahoo! (and others) don't often compute PE's until a while after the earnings have been released anyway. Maybe it's to allow the company to confirm the earnings or print a correction. I heard about the news in the afternoon but I think it was released in the morning. It usually appears on the Business Wire about 30 minutes before it appears on Yahoo! I don't subscribe to the BW, but I've heard it from someone who does. It takes a few days for an announcement to be acted on if one just becomes interested so we may have yet to see a run from this.
