You would be amazed. I actually encouraged traders to go through discounters because I refused to discount. BUT clients still wanted to look someone straight in the face when there was a problem with their account, or wanted to talk to someone knowledgable when they entered orders. Obviously if you know the client, the client will not have to go through the usual questions you do when you phone a discount broker"what;s your name, account number,blah,blah,blah" That was what you call EASY money;)
