>>with all due respect, i think this is a fairly naive statement ...

Microsoft owns WebTV. WebTV is a substantive entry-level burgeoning growth internet pipe whose weakest and strongest link is content. Sesame Street is simply content which is virtually a monopoly with infinite barriers to entry once licensed for WebTV...the only question is...if NewKidCo has the rights for Sesame Street for WebTV...game over....WebTV is critical for NewKidCo, again, to gain credibility with the street that NewKidCo is on the pulse of all pending substantive paradigm shifts...WebTV arguably is precisely why edutainment represents a sustained burgeoning growth sector and it is our opinion that edutainment is to WebTV what VisiCalc was to the Apple Computer [Visicalc:Apple] as [NewKidCo Monopoly Licensed Edutainment:WebTV] we don't care nor should any shareholder care whether the WebTV is a gaming platform or not..that posit is irrelevant...that is not the question...To WebTV or not to WebTV....That is the Question...and one the street simply needs an answer to, in our opinion....

So why would have Forrester Research asked the question? They certainly have the pulse of what is happening. And I hope SWEBF is listening .Playstation has the #'s but webtv is the future, especially for a children's format. This situation is one of the reasons it was invented. I don't underestimate any possibility anymore.
