Exactly. And I seriously doubt we will see any of those signs. If Greenspan tightens, we will be talking major problems for Asia. Major. Greenspan is too smart for that. I'm sure the announced "bias" vote was to correct the only inflation currently showing up...and that's in the stock market. These little announcements are all the Fed needs to do to keep things in check.

I'm sure, however, that behind closed doors Alan is saying some very clear things about the Asian downdraft...which I don't think we've seen the end of yet.

So FWIW, it's my perspective that Greenspan will NOT raise rates anytime soon.
