bob, I think you are correct bob. I tried to find your post of some months ago referring to the projected size of the embedded market by the year 2000, but was unsuccessful. I thought the figure seemed awfully small and now I realize that the entire embedded market should be on the magnitude of 50+ billion by the year 2000. That should give us a niche of 30+ billion to shoot at. Maybe that is why the street did not react to today's announcement. Perhaps the author was referring to the industrial control market only. If anyone can find the projections of the embedded processor market it would be greatly appreciated! Cap
