H&Q conference: additional information The H&Q schedule has 5 firms presenting at the same time. Which room the respective companies get depends on interest from attendees. The largest room by far is the Grand Ballroom. This is where Dell, Aol, Sun, et al. present. Guess which room Ascend gets? That's right - THE GRAND BALLROOM. Wednesday 9 AM PST. We're going to rock and roll very, very soon.

Therefore Asnd is not on their current shopping list, but is still very much on their mind. I agree. Now, How much pressure is LU's on-going acquisitions has on it's competitors? I can't quantify the pressure but every time a leader makea an acquisition, it causes concern for the others. If LU is interested in ASND, then I suspect Mory isn't losing a wink of sleep over today's announcement. These guys talk. No one's sitting in the back of the hall waiting to be asked to dance. Of course, shareholders have to sit and worry in his place. Later -- Pat
