Thanks for your reply....

>>below the surface there is something going on we do not know
about yet....and is priviledged information of the elite circle.<<

I've wondered about this statement for sometime....what undercurrents
prevail that are shaping the structure of our monitary lives.
I've got a few thoughts.....

Under-currents to our markets are often openly visable, but the
manipulation of these currents are not so easily understood and often
miss-represented....in many ways.

1] One of the strongest components to the undercurrents in our time has
been the "floated currency markets" established by Nixons' pen in 1971.
That was a powerful change to our financial systems and has brought us to
our present systems of checks and balances---baised heavely on derivatives
and currency holdings.

2] "The Death of Money" by Joel Kurtzman and "Money Meltdown" by Judy Shelton
do a wonderful job of describing the present system...as you already know.
Lets just say this current has produced remarkable benifits and at the
same time remarkable potential for disaster.

3] The lightening speed of our Megabyte Money is anything but stable.
Volitility is now common and who wins and losses also occurs at the
speed of light. Financial systems today are not based on fundamental
assets....they are based on "fundamental psychology"....dollars are
basically a value of individual currency traders *thinking*...not goods
or purely economic factors. The electronic dollar is based on thoughtful
economic and psyhic musings.....and greed.....and mathematicians with there
quant trading systems. This has not been all bad...just unstable...like
building a house on sand or mud flats.

4] Asia is the most recent example of a "floated currencies -- mental
value" and Mexico, Italy, Spain...etc are other examples. If Japan does
not respond shortly to it's stimulous packages...they may be added to the
list. There is nothing to say the US dollar cannot be added.

5] The Euro has the potential to be the next big surprize for this
new world of "floated currencies". Rather then beat these keys further
let me link to an old post that was written by Tekgk....back in 30th Jan.
I think he does a much better job of expressing the newest undercurrent.

I hope he doesn't mind.
