Well, you're 3 for 3 on those. Christmas Story has to be one of the top 10 funny movies of all time. I grew up about 20 years after Ralphie, but I think just about everything that happened to him in that movie happened to me. Except for the neighbor's dogs trashing the Christmas turkey. My dad never won anything in a contest, either. My favorite line in the whole movie is when Randy is hiding under the sink and crying because he thinks the dad is going to kill Ralphie after the big fight. And the mom says Daddy is NOT going to KILL Ralphie. It was all in the delivery. She was a great mom.
