Linda, there is only so much "quality control" one can accomplish due to the laws of physics.

Mechanichal devices such as the Vapor! toy run the risk of damage from movement because their parts are delicate and tolerances are so tight. It is just wasted effort trying to string out the lifespan of the old technology Vapor! uses when newer, better, more reliable technologies like Flash are already here and being improved on month after month.

Costs are coming way down for Flash, and by the time any OEM's could possibly include Vapor! in their devices (a year or more from now), Flash prices will have become much cheaper than the $200 entrance fee for a 40MB Vapor! toy drive, and highly competitive with Vapor!'s $10 40MB media.

40MB is just too small a capacity to be considered as a "Standard" for years to come. Sorry.
