I thought the market was supposed to "CLIMB a wall of worry." Today didn't look much like climbing!

Addi, I think it is not so much that ordinary people actually worried
about SEA two weeks ago, inflation today and something else tomorrow.
It is rather that the WSJ says they worry about these things,
which then causes stock fluctuations, which in turn enables the pros
to trade and turn a profit.

In the absence of higher earnings, there is no rational excuse for stocks to move higher. But profits can be had by exploiting fears
that move stocks lower first, then higher again. The only thing Wallstreet abhors is a static stock price.

I suspect you knew all that.<g>
