*AV*--Sorry but I was off line last night. I will look at this today, after market close. Hopefully I will not be a day late and a dollar short with a response.

*AV*--Sorry for the delay on CHKPF but it took me more time to reach my conclusion after doing some investigation. I had very little hard copy information on the company but I was quite familiar with it from previous experiences (off radar and on periphery of universe). Your question provoked a more serious look at this stock.

Bottom Line: Thanks for asking me and making me evaluate this company again since I have decided to pull the trigger on this stock. I am making some purchases of this stock as I am writing this reply. I guess I stopped straddling the fence when I saw the follwoing two recent press releases.

It appears that CHKPF has a decent offering for the NT environment which may explain some of the recent commentary/scenario with MSFT.
It would make more sense for MSFT to takeover CHKPF than to try to drive them out of business. It still confuses me as to why MSFT paid over $300 million for HotMail (free email and paid advertsisements) and not consider a takeover of CHKPF. CHKPF has a good following and some solid branded products.

I am not taking a big position but rather a trading position for a possible short to mid term pop. After all, as the one article linked above from today (ISDEX article) clearly pointed out, it got creamed relative to the others on the list. I see a nice 10% positive action possible from this point on in time. Who knows, I might even see 20-30% if things go the way I hope relative to MSFT and CHKPF<GG>.
