Agree with you 200%. Put order in last night to sell 200 CD at 25 1/4. 24 Million shares traded and the highest today was 25 1/2. Yet my order still not executed. Besides negligence and stupidly slow system, they are also outrageous crooks. When errors made and they gain they pocket them quietly, when errors caused loss they call you up to pay (like I shorted 3 times in IRA?, the first two caused loss so I paid in covering, the last one last week a big gain and the short quietly dissapear). Have to leave in a week when my Datek application arrives.

same problems with ameritrade. have lost money waiting on their confirmations, don't even try to use cancel/replace. you have hung yourself for the entire day. the phone-oh my, that's another problem.
the staff is very helpful though.
