[ QSound Labs and Sunrise Technologies ] GD, SNRS is going to be ripe for the picking with about one more day of stabilized price action. I'm venturing the opinion that the downside risk has been and will continue to be fairly reduced for a number of reasons I put down in another post on the SNRS thread:exchange2000.com I continue to remain cautious of the broad market price action though; today held up quite well considering our situation. According to my readings from various posts, the Nasdaq application has been filed and the 5 - 7 week countdown is running (the application was submitted around last week, so it's no longer 6 - 8 weeks). I'm assuming that as the expected date narrows, we will see a steadier climb to at least $10.00. Skane's target of $35.00 is plausible given the potential of the hyperopia market. Also, the opthalmologists who have seen and performed the procedure are showing remarkable commitment to this, and even the CEO does not want to entertain any buyout offers. The only time I wouldn't want my company to be bought out is if I thought I could make more money than the price I'm being offered in the longer term. One other factor I did not mention about SNRS's technical picture is that the Speed/Resistance lines are indicating the price is also at support. Trend-following indicators are bullish, and longer term momentum is still rising, while the short term momentum is showing that the abrupt price weakness is abating. Watch the candles, watch the price support, the dma's, the RSI, the stochastics, and I think you'll see there's a pretty good argument for a nice entry in the near term. This all depends on the tone of the markets, so let's give that some consideration as well. The risk/reward characteristics on this are more attractive than that of the broader markets in my opinion. Now, regarding QSound Labs: note that this is not a Technical Trade for me (just look at it). There is also significant reason to believe that six months out, this will at least trade to about $3.00, and if I were to acquire at $2.50, I would at least expect about a 20% return on my investment; it'll be sure to be a choppy ride though. Significant support exists at 2.5, so it would appear that an entry at this point will make for a good position to trade from. Regards, Rainier
