Those of us that have been with this company for a number of years know of the potential of the Kazakhstan concession to be explored further this summer. I think that the real boost will be when information is revealed on this. Another company that I have been watching for about 8 months has a concession for hydrocarbons in Kazakhstan, American International Petroleum Inc. I do not normally push other companies but it has come down to purchasing levels after a run up to nearly $6.50/share. They have potential recoverable reserves of 2.5 billion barrels within their concession, have 52 million in financing, are going to conduct drilling this quarter, and are searching for a joint venture partner right now. Their concession lies between AMOCCO, EXXON, and ELF concessions, and is near existing pipelines. It seems like a steal but do your own due diligence. They have a website and the symbol is AIPN.
