There has been little discussion of India and China on this thread. These countries, at least, WERE growing quickly (7%?). I'm not sure what will happen now. With more than 1/3 of the world population they will likely become a major force. I'm more interested in China. In a cheap store here in North America one has to look really hard to find something NOT made in China. Besides, judging by TCH closed-end fund, China's valuations were considerably knocked down both in 1994 and now. -Vi
