Almost all tech stocks opened up like that. It only take a few sellers with no buyers for a stock to dip sharply. Too many people think the m.m's manipulate the price which is untrue although it does happen at certain times. It doesn't look to me like there was much volume on the stock so I don't see where the m.m's picked up much stock. I have spent several years working with m.m's during an internship and for two years with a Wall Street firm and it is hysterical to see how on every thread on SI almost every day blames the m.m's for almost every sharp move down. It is simply untrue. At first I used to laugh at those comment s but they are now getting old. The market opened up down a ton. What makes Aapl immune to this. To a degree they did hold up quite well on low volume. It looks like investors think 27 or so is a fair price.
