To all: I have been following OO for a couple of years and lurking on the thread. My questions are:

1. Are the shoes a desperate attempt to augment sales due to a worldwide slowdown (contraction) in sunglass sales?

2. Even if the shoes are hot, how long can they be hot for? Will the success have legs? How much shoe sales contribute to net income? NKE and Reebok have been hit with a huge slowdown (and inventories), what makes OO immune from the general market conditions?

3. Who will win the price war that WILL occur when OO shoes enter the market?

I think that OO will have a quick pop on the exitement of the release, but there are better places to put your money.
